Properties: Light yellowish powder, Decomposes below 192-240º C, not volatilization, relative density (water =1): 1.9, Solubility in water: 160mg/l, insoluble in most organic solvents, can soluble in chelate reagent.

Application: Maneb is an ethylene bisdithiocarbamate protective fungicide. It is used to protect rice, wheat, vegetable, grape, fruit, and tobacco against a wide spectrum of fungal diseases, including rust of wheat, leaf blight of corn, tea brown spot, damping-off of tobacco, anthracnose of pepper, blotch of corn, blight of potato, early and late blight, leaf spot, downy mildew, scab of apple and pear and so on. Maneb is used to compatible with many systemic fungicides to increase the efficacy.
