Properties the purity is White powder. Technical is yellow or grayish white powder. Have odorous egg smell, decompose before melting point. Flash point: 138-143º C Solubility: Insoluble in water and most organic solvents. Can soluble in Pyridine and carbon bisulfide, It is unstable under light, heat and moisture condition, when mixture with the strong alkali, copper and mercurial material, Zineb is readily release carbon bisulfide to reduce the efficacy.

Application: Zineb is an ethylene bisdithiocarbamate protective fungicide. It is used to protect rice, wheat, vegetable, grape, fruit, and tobacco against a wide spectrum of fungal diseases, including rust of wheat, leaf blight of corn, tea brown spot, damping-off of tobacco, anthracnose of pepper, blotch of corn, blight of potato, early and late blight, leaf spot, downy mildew, scab of apple and pear and so on.
